Shannon Rousey is currently serving as the Chief Deputy and responsible for overseeing the day to day operations, which includes the Criminal Investigation Division, Patrol, and Jail, along with Sheriff Agnew. Chief Rousey was previously employed at the Sheriff’s Office, where he was assigned to the Patrol Division, before being promoted to Sergeant and assigned to the South Central Texas/Agriplex Narcotic Task Force. After completing his assignment, with the Task Forces, Chief Rousey was reassigned as an Investigator, before moving on to the Mexia Police Department as a Patrol Sergeant.
David Turrurbiarte is currently serving as the Captain of the Jail Division. Captain Turrurbiarte has been employed by the Limestone County Sheriff's Office since 2011. Captain Turrurbiarte came to the sheriff's office after serving as a Warden for the Texas Department of Corrections-Institutional Division.
Jamie Bay is currently serving as the administrative assistant to Sheriff Agnew. She is responsible for assisting the Sheriff in his daily activities, human resources, payroll and other various duties. She oversees the front office staff and helps with other duties at the sheriff's office. She also holds a dispatch and jailers license. Jamie has been with the Sheriff's Office since 2004.
